This week I began conducting research in order to decided which character I wished to redesign for the brief, what their previous incarnation was like and how to best revamp them. I began by taking notes on what the brief required and other extra information would be useful for further research. I then decided on the character Billy the Cat after looking at various Beano comics and looking online before creating a few quick sketched ideas on how the outfit could be redesigned.
